Grief Ministry
- Grief Ministers support our parishioners with the challenging transition
associated with the loss of a loved one. Are you an empathetic person? A
good listener? Do you like to help people ease their burdens? Grief is an
experience we all feel at some point; it can be a challenging and unpredictable
time, a roller coaster of emotions. If you feel a calling to assist in our ministry
your help would be much appreciated and is rewarding in the knowledge that
you can make a difference and ease someone's pain while they are mourning
a loss.
We make contact with a call and/or visit to people in the Parish who have lost
a loved one. We try to provide support and solace in listening and with
resources available.
- We also organize an annul Mass of Remembrance the 1st Sunday of
November at the 11:am mass with a reception following for the families of the
parishioners who have died during the preceding year.
