conduct a preseason parent meeting (the meeting should start with a prayer just as all games do)
conduct 1-2 practices per week
return roster to A.D. in a timely fashion
coach in a Christian manner (you have a huge impact on the kids you coach)
ensure a safe environment for your players
ensure adequate supervision at all times
set the example for the kids and the parents
Duties
attend yearly certification workshop
adhere to the C.Y.O. code of conduct (prayer, sportsmanship, all play, no running up scores, keeping winning and losing in perspective, fun)
be knowledgeable of and follow all C.Y.O. rules
be knowledgeable of and follow St. Theresa Athletic Dept. Mission Statement and Guidelines
ensure there are at least two certified adults present at all times and for girls teams that at least one of the adults present is a certified female adult
respect the official’s judgment (even if you don’t agree with it)
