Taize
Friday’s during Lent
7:00 PM in the church
Taize Prayer originated in Taize, France by an ecumenical, international community
founded in 1940 by Brother Roger. A Taize Prayer Service consists of music, song,
scripture, reflective readings, and quiet meditation.
We come together as community to listen. Scripture is read and we reflect upon it in
silence. Simple songs are sung over and over again, opening up the soul. Through it all
God speaks and the heart hears.
