Lenten Spiritual Renewal Series

Lent is a time for spiritual renewal. It is a time when people search for something more -
more depth, more relevance, more purpose, more understanding. Beginning the first week
of Lent, and continuing for each of the six weeks, our parish will be running a Lenten
Spiritual Renewal Series called Everyday Faith. This series provides an ideal opportunity
for parish members to focus each week on an aspect of our faith that could and should
have relevance in our everyday lives. Each week, there will be an insert in the bulletin
that introduces a faith-related topic and directs you to the Everyday Faith.net website which
will contain podcasts of interviews on the same topic. There are some outstanding
speakers who were interviewed for this series, including one of the great spiritual
Champion Coach, Tony Dungy, recognized thought leader in higher education, Parker
Palmer, and others. You can listen to these podcasts online, or you can download them
to an iPod or CD to listen to them in your car or on-the-go.
Look for the Everyday Faith Series in the bulletin each week during Lent. For those who
would prefer, your will have the opportunity to hear an airing of the week’s talk in the
Rectory following the 9:00am Mass each Sunday during Lent.
